If you were wondering where we are - we are at the BEACH!!!! Our favorite beach - New Smyrna Beach - which is about 30 miles south of Daytona Florida. This is our second trip with Lily and boy does she LOVE it - we arrived yesterday after a really good trip down - thanks to the DVD player and Elmo...we quickly changed into bathing suits and went to the beach. Lily really liked the sand - (and for once it isn't in shannon and lucy's backyard :)) Then she saw the ocean - and went running - didn't even slow down - which really freaked me out because I have had nightmares about her getting caught in the under toe and being swept away - - but her daddy held tight and didn't go to far out -which is a good thing because there were SHARKS!!! 2 of them - little guys - but they still have teeth - Yes New Smyrna Beach has sharks... Today we were up early and out the door back to the beach - She probably would have stayed out there all day if we let her!!!!! KK and Granddaddy have taken lily to the store to grab some lunch - and we will all take a nap (except mommy who has to study for her test tuesday :( ) and then back to the beach - - maybe we will go to the dogtrack later and think of Robin - for those who didn't know - my friend Robin came to NSB with us a couple of years back and we went to Daytona to the dog track - i think Robin won the most money - $5!!!!!:)
