We actually had snow in Atlanta yesterday!!!! Lily's first snowfall. I was able to leave work a little early to go to the church to pick up Lily and get pictures taken. (I will post soon) Lily was not real sure about the snow flakes falling on her face. She would shake her head with each bit of snow that touched her. Then she got really excited about something - either the snow or KK and Granddaddy talking to her - it was a little hard to tell which one. Today there is still snow on some rooftops, but mostly it has melted and we didn't get a snow day :( !!!! Well, maybe there is more snow in store for the coming months (I doubt it though)!!!!!
We spent the night at mom and dad's house because of the weather and they really need to get gates up on their stairs. Lily can climb up ALL the stairs. They have 4 that go from the den to the kitchen level and then like 14 that go to the upstairs, and Lily scales all of them like it is no big deal. She cannot, however, go down them yet. Maybe she should learn from her 'cousin' Thomas. (See Gary blog)
